Peaches are my JAM!
Ok Ok, that was cheesy. I love fresh peaches in the summertime. I can remember as a kid going to the grocery store with my Mom. In August, the smell of fresh peaches would smack you in the face when you walked in. They were always right at the door and there would be brown bags for you to fill! I couldn’t stuff a bag full enough. I would get in the car and immediately start eating one. The juice would roll down my face. I was in HEAVEN.
Fast forward to adulthood…. I still LOVE fresh peaches!
Now I enjoy eating them AND decorating with them. This year I stumbled upon this adorable vintage cream an sugar set of peaches. I grabbed them up and my mind started swimming with ideas of how I would use them in my summer vignettes.
Lucky for me peaches are very popular now.
I found more cute goodies at Walmart. I just happened to be in there picking up something and I had to cruise down the seasonal aisle.
The Just Peachy embroidery decor, flower, and beaded garland were all there. They were just so adorable I had to bring them home. I mean hello, they work so well with the vintage peach set and that green toy truck.
Cutting boards always sit on the counter. I use them as the backdrop for my seasonal decor.
I love how all of this is layered with the copper, wood tones and the soft peach hues.
Adding different textures can make the perfect display!
I wanted to add a little more greenery and texture to the display and I found the basket with greenery at Goodwill. This piece is great because it can be mixed into just about any vignette.
My Kitchen decor is not complete without creating a fun sign on my letter board from 12 Timbers.
I love adding the peaches and garland to this area also. We see this area right when we walk into the kitchen. It just makes me smile.
AND what display would be complete without a vintage Campfire Marshmallows tin? I love this cutie. I added some faux lambs ear and a few more faux peaches. Now it is done!
So do you decorate with peaches? Would you love to have this look in your kitchen?
