Who is Pam and what is “junktales”
Well I love all things old, rusty and worn out. Most items that people would toss aside I grab up and make new again. I started junktales as a way to channel my creative energy. I wanted to take the old worn out items and make new again. About the same time I started dabbling in DIYS, the world around me was creating new shops that showcased these items.
I rented a space in a local shop and started selling.
Was I succesful at first?
Well the short answer to that question is NO!
Well kind of…. I didn’t lose money and I learned a lot. So I guess that was a success. Everyday I got better and better. I even got more confident in what I was doing. My skills improved with each project.
Fast forward many many years……
After being in many shops, and working day and night to create new product, I decided it was time to slow down. I want to focus on teaching.
So many people would ask me daily “how” I do this, or “why” I did that.
After being asked so many times I started to think….. why don’t I write a blog?
And so the adventure begins.
I am here to help you! Teach you! Listen to you!
So after all that… let’s get started.
