Let’s make some DIY Garden Flower Pot Candleholders

Want to know how to make these easy DIY garden flower pot candle holders?
It all started when I found these little garden pots. Have you ever gone shopping and had to have something, but really didn’t know what you were going to do with it?
Ha, that has never stopped me before!

When I started working on my casual party tablescape, I had an “ah-ha” moment. These little white pots would be perfect as candle holders.
Now what to do with the large opening? Sure I could put votive candles in them, but that just wasn’t what I wanted to do. I needed to figure out a way to make the taper candles stand.

Enter my handy dandy glue gun, this is a must-have if you like to DIY.
I thought well I will just glue them, but then I saw I had a huge bag of these metal base tea lights. Better idea….
I glued the tealights in the garden pots and lit each one. Once the wax melted, I place the taper candle in the warm wax. Once it cooled it held my taper candle much more securely.

And guess what? It totally worked!

Fill each pot with some Spanish moss. I loved this bright green for Spring. I found it FINALLY at Walmart, link here

Now you have them all finished, enjoy them in all of your summer table-scapes. Check out how I used them in my Cinco De Mayo Party; click here for all the details.
