Looking for a tutorial for an easy DIY wreath? Something you can create with a few supplies and for just a few dollars? Well, here you go!
Start with a grapevine wreath. I found mine at a thrift store, but you can pick these up at any craft store.
Corn Husks can be found at most large grocery stores. They sell for just a few dollars. If you can not find them locally, they can be ordered online. Check these out.
To create the wreath begin by gathering 3 husks. Use thin wire, like floral wire, to bundle them together.
You will layer the bundle,s one top of each other, Layering the wide end over the previous bundle end.
This will make your wreath fuller and hide the wire. Keep repeating this step until the wreath is full.
If you can’t hide all the wire, you can grab a hot glue gun and layer more husks on top of the wire.
Once you have the look you are happy with it, hang and enjoy. I hung mine over this vintage bushel basket lid. I love the contrast.
I hope you enjoyed this DIY.
