Let me show you how to decorate on a budget. You don’t have to break the bank to have a beautifully decorated home for a New Year’s Eve party.
Every year I try to hit the shops for the after-Christmas sales. These days you can get the sales before Christmas. Most stores start marking their Holiday items down after Thanksgiving.
There are always goodies that you can find that can be used for New Year’s.
Golds and Silvers are my first choice.
Those colors can easily transition from Christmas to New Year.
I look for;
- Garland ( silver and gold)
- Floral picks
- Themed ornaments ( clocks, disco balls, top hats) I got so lucky with these cuties from Walmart
- I found clock scrapbook paper to add to my wreath. Joann’s Crafts
One of the easiest things I love to make is a New Year wreath.
You can check out the full tutorial on my Instagram account.
I wanted to create a fun centerpiece in my dining room.
Something all of my guest could see and enjoy.
I used a roll of rose colored gift wrap as the table runner. It adds another layer of sparkle to the table scape.
Using small to medium sized ornaments are a fun way to add interest with table scatter.
The gold sprays are floral picks and perfect for laying on the table. You can see a few jingle bells there also.
My favorite item that I found for my display was the adorable clock ornaments.
The large “disco ball” is a HUGE non breakable ornament from Hobby Lobby and it is just perfect as the center.
All that this party needs now is food and drink.
